The Indian Journal of Gender Studies is a peer-reviewed journal. Its objective is to encourage and publish research, analysis and informed discussion on issues relating to gender. Often, contributions challenge existing social attitudes and academic biases that obstruct a holistic understanding of the role of the family, particularly of its women members, community and a wider polity. In recent years, the journal has focused on women in politics, violence as a phenomenon, disability, the social organization of the family, women’s livelihood matters, institutional, legal and policy questions, and motherhood and child care. Journal is included in the following abstracting and indexing databases: Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC), Bibliography of Asian Studies (BAS), SCOPUS, Social Sciences Citation Index (Web of Science), Social Services Abstracts – ProQuest, Studies on Women and Gender Abstracts and many more.

DISCOVER BERLIN

Berlin is not only the capital of Germany, but also in many ways the capital of Europe, sitting at the crossroads of the East and West. Germany serves as the continent’s largest economy and the world’s fourth-largest overall. It’s a major player in the industry, engineering, science, and renewable energy, and Berlin has recently been dubbed the start-up capital of Europe.

It’s a country known for its rich culture, world-famous festivals, beautiful landscape, and war-torn history. By occupying such an important place in the political, economic, and cultural worlds, Germany – Berlin in particular – makes for a compelling study abroad destination.

City Tour

We would also like to offer the participants a one-day city tour free of charge. Great chance for participants to mingle around as well as appreciate the largest and most historical city of Berlin with its famous buildings, architecture and rich culture.
